Travel Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

The first day you arrive, you will be greeted and picked up from the airport to your hotel then there is a group dinner for everyone to get to know each other then have some rest for start of an adventure

Day 2

The Great Pyramids and Memphis City

Start your full day tour visiting the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos then Visit the Valley Temple and the Sphinx -Then Visit Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser), Then Visit Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids) south of Cairo. Then Visit Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, At the end of the Tour, you will be transferred back to your hote

Day 3

Egyptian Museum and Cairo Bazar

Start your Full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamon Then Continue your day tour to The Citadel where you visit The Alabaster Mosque Of Mohamed Ali Pasha . Then continue your day tour to Khan El Khalili Bazaar in old Cairo. At the end of the Tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel

Day 4

Aswan and Abu Simbel

You fly in the morning to Aswan where you will be picked up from the airport for a 3 hours drive south of Aswan to visit the Abo Simbel temple. After Lunch you will head back to Aswan and check in your luxury 5-star hotel . In the evening you will attend the sound and light show at Philae temple

Day 5

Aswan and Nile Cruise

After breakfast you start your day with a kayak in the Nile then you check in the Luxury 5 star Nile cruise , have lunch then Visit the Unfinished Obelisk & the Temple of Philae and the High Dam you will also have Sail on the Nile by felucca. In the evening there will be dance music on board the cruise then afterwards you will have some free time to explore the local street markets and buy some souvenir

Day 6

Nile Cruise - Kom Ombo and Edfu

Early Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo then the cruise will sail to Edfu. You will have lunch on board then Visit Edfu Temple. In the afternoon you can enjoy some Tea Time on board the cruise and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Nile . Afterwards you will have Dinner on board the cruise then there will be a Gallabiyah Party on board the cruise. Meanwhile the cruise will start to sail to Luxor

Day 7

Luxor

You start the day before dawn for a hot air balloon ride to watch then sunrise then you visit the West Bank – The Valley of the Kings and Queens, The temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Then you will have Lunch on board the cruise then you start your Visit East Bank (Karnak and Luxor Temples) then have Dinner on board the cruise then enjoy the Night Entertainment (Belly Dancer). Afterwards you will have some free time if you want to explore the street markets and buy some souvenirs or just take a horse carriage in the streets of Luxor

Day 8

Cairo - Countryside farm visit - Pottery workshop

After breakfast you will check out from the Nile cruise, then fly back to Cairo where you will visit the Egyptian countryside  where you are to meet a family and have a brunch with them trying a traditional Egyptian food then you are going to head back to the city for a tour of one of Cairo’s pottery workshops where you learn to make some wonderful potteries then you will be transferred back to your hotel

Is it safe to travel to Egypt ?

Egypt is a fairly safe country to travel to if you are on your guard, observe local cultural customs and follow the instruction of your tour leader. Although the crime rate in Egypt is low, beware of scammers if you decide to spend some free time in a local market after dinner.

What is the accommodation type?

How much is the entry visa cost ?

The entry visa is $25 for a single entry. It is recommended that you have the exact amount with you when arriving at Cairo airport.

what type of clothes should I wear ?

You are free to wear whatever you like as long as you are on tour or in your hotel. When going to a local market or a religious site it is recommended to wear more conservative clothing.

Do I need an insurance?

It is recommended to get a travel insurance from your insurance provider that covers trip cancellation and interruption, baggage loss protection, and emergency medical expense coverage along with emergency medical evacuation coverage.

Cancellation 
OSCATT reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate enrollment or other cause that makes the trip unfeasible for us to operate but will inform you at least 30 days prior to departure. In such a case, a full travel credit toward a future trip or refund cost is given.
In any event, OSCATT will provide alternative travel dates for a postponed trip. If a refund is sought, only recoverable funds will be provided.  OSCATT is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by members preparing for the trip (e.g., non-refundable Advance Purchase air tickets, visa fees if applicable, clothing, equipment, or medical expenses).
If a trip is cancelled or postponed due to force majeure (war, labor strikes, earthquakes, flooding, epidemic, a major world event adversely affecting international travel patterns, etc.), OSCATT will provide a travel credit or refund recoverable funds
Cancellation fees and refunds 
 At the time we receive written notice that you must cancel your trip, the following fees will apply (all dates are from departure date):
95 days prior to trip departure 0% of Cost
94 to 61 days prior to trip departure 25% of Cost
60 to 31 days prior to trip departure 50% of Cost
30 days or less prior to trip departure 100% of Cost
Baggage
OSCATT assumes no liability for loss or damage to baggage in transit to and from a trip or while on a trip.
Medical & Health
It is vital that persons with medical problems make them known to us well before departure. The trip leader has the right to disqualify anyone at any time during the trip. Refunds are not given under such circumstances. OSCATT assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care at the destination country.
Release from Liability
All participants must agree and sign on the release of liability agreement.
Transfers
You may transfer one time to another trip without a fee up to 95 days before departure. Requests to transfer from one trip to another within 94 days of departure are subject to the Cancellation Fees outlined above
